This place is awesome! more penguins at the zoo than the island sadly but a gorgeous island with many other wonders to enjoy. Due to humans however no bins or stores on the island and with sandbar at low tide you can walk back through the water instead of returning on the ferry♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Called on Sunday to book the ferry for the day after, the guy over the phone told me that no booking was needed and that I could just drive and show up on the day. Drove all the way from Perth on my only day off, they said there was no cruise because they had not enough people so even after we tried to book we had to drive back home. Embarrassing service

Visited on a Sunday with the fam, in time for the 11am tour. Fantastic experience with Sarah and Ian, as we managed to catch the dolphins, sea lions, osprey family on tour. The penguins were talkative during the penguin feeding time too. Worth a visit with the kids.

Was a lovely morning trip but the ferry price was overpriced. Unclear whether the ferry price went towards the penguin sanctuary. I hope so!

Fantastic experience that shouldn’t be missed when visiting WA. I have now done it twice and both times (at 9.45am) it has been great and we have been lucky to see so many wildlife - dolphins, sea lions and birds as well as beautiful scenery. No need for filters as the color of the water is just breathtaking.

Really helpful staff for crossing into Penguin Island. We just came and brought a ticket at the counter. This is where you pick up pr buy the tickets for the crossing or the tours. The times they had were different to what was posted online but it was nicely timed for the crossing, cruise and the feeding at the island. There is also a souvenier shop here. Its not too hard to find and there is quite a bit of parking.

Great 1 hour tour. They got us nice & close to Seal Island & was easy to see & photograph the Sea Lions. Lucky enough to see one large one sitting in the water & another one out swimming.The guys tried their best to find dolphins but no luck on our trip.Back in time to either get ferry back to the mainland or see the penguin feeding.Very friendly.Toilet on board.
