Great fishing. Location is relatively easy to get to with your own boat launching from Onslow. Offers a number of shoals / reefs to fish and troll off with good results. Accommodation is functional and clean but basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great to go there on a fishing trip but not sure that I would choose it as a holiday destination if did not have your own boat unless you choose to use their rental boats which looked to be relatively new and good condition. Would recommend for a fishing holiday

Just got back from 7 days on Thevanard Island. What an amazing experience,- Fishing was exceptional- Wildlife was abundant- Staff on the island were extremely helpfulWill definitely return as soon as I can.

Now we have been home for a couple of weeks and have had time digest it,Is it worth it ,,,not really, we have had a lot nicer accommodation for a lot less money.I understand it is an island but it reminds me of a shack at Wedge.The accommodation is so out dated it truly needs a major overhaul.Would we do it again,,,not reallyMake sure you take ample supplies as the shop has the bare minimal ( we took enough for a week ).Positives;The staff are friendly and easy to get on with,Sunrises and sunsets are absolutely superb,Enjoyed the snorkeling,Enjoyed the complimentary activities ,The peace and tranquility,

I cannot praise the staff enough. They have a great team on the Island with plenty of knowledge, experience and willingness to help with anything. It's not 5 star accommodation, but for the location and service you can't get better for a self catered trip away with a group of like-minded fishos. If / when the new pontoon gets installed, it will be excellent, as getting to / from the boat moorings on the small dinghy and on / off the boats at the beach is a bit of an effort, especially if there's even a slight breeze.

Service, Staff and Location are the winners here,Rooms are in need of renovation.But that's to be expected as they are island rooms.It will be great once the mining company has gone too.Fingers crossed they are done by the end of this year....I would absolutely love to come back here in the future when Chevron has gone.And would love the chef to make some vegetarian dishes!They did on our last night which was great.

Had a fabulous time at the Fervour pop up dining experience! Also enjoyed our overnight stay on Thevenard island. We will be back!
